Brady: FTAs in First Half of 2011

On December 7, incoming Ways and Means Trade Subcommittee Chairman Kevin Brady (R-TX) addressed the Chamber's conference on "North American Competitiveness and the Global Supply Chain." Mr. Brady said the Republicans in the House want to work with the president to pass the pending free trade agreements with South Korea, Colombia, and Panama in the first six months of 2011. "There's no better way to show the rest of the world that America is serious about trade engagement than moving those FTAs," Brady said. See the Reuters pieces for further details.
